Stomor were commissioned to overcome an objection raised by the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) associated with the proposed development of 73 dwellings at Eskdale Road, Stoke Mandeville. The objection related to insufficient information being provided with regard to surface water management and provision of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
Stomor liaised with the LLFA and worked with the scheme Architect to identify potential SuDS measures which could be implemented within the proposed layout to satisfy the LLFA’s requirements. Stomor’s expertise in SuDS design resulted in a strategy which had minimal impact on the development layout. The LLFA removed their objection and in their response stated that the strategy was “an exemplar scheme that would become a flagship for SuDS in Buckinghamshire”.
